Two options available

1. GTR Airport: The nearest airport is the

Golden Triangle Regional (GTR) airport ,which is

about 17.7 miles (i.e. 25 mins away) from Starkville.

Please ensure that your connection from any

major US airport is to Columbus/GTR-Mississippi.

It is important to remember that the state is

MISSISSIPPI. Many times, airport officials mistake

Columbus to "Columbus, Ohio" instead of "Columbus,

Mississippi". 

If you are looking for cities with an International airport close to

Starkville then here is the list : Jackson, MS (126 miles, 2 hours 10 mins) ; Birmingham, AL (141 mi, 2 hours 16 mins) ; Memphis, TN (185 mi, 2 hours 52 mins) ; Atlanta, GA (285 mi, 4 hours 25 mins)

 

Please make a note that we will be unable to pick you up if your final destination is other than GTR - Columbus in MISSISSIPPI State. So make sure that you have booked your air tickets to COLUMBUS, MISSISSIPPI. Also if your flight gets delayed please inform us of your new arrival time. Also, ensure that you have the contact numbers of at least two committee members in case of emergency. While in the US, do not hesitate to ask for guidance. It is advisable to keep some quarters ($0.25 coins) worth $5-$10 with you, in case you need to make some phone calls or buy some food from vending machines.
