​MISSION AND EVENTS
Indian Student Organization (ISA) is a non-profit organization. ISA is a culture-based group dedicated to preserving the Indian culture. We hold cultural events, general meetings, sports competitions etc. throughout the year. In an academic year,we hold three major events namely UDBHAV, DEEPOSTAV (Festival of lights), Maroon Vibes , and several other events such as Navratri, Holi( Festival of colors) etc. ISA constitutes Indian Faculty and Students, US Faculty and Student, and Faculty and Students from other countries such as Srilanka, Nepal, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan etc. ISA welcomes all the Students and Faculty from every department of Mississippi State University.
EVENTS
Udbhav is a cultural event welcoming new Students to the Mississippi State Univeristy . Udhbav event includes following activities 1) Fashion walk of new students in which new students introduce themselves to the Audience which including Faculty and Students from various departments. 2) Cultural Dances, Singing, Drama, and various other activities. 3) We serve Indian cuisine food at the event.

Deepotsav is a cultural event which includes 1) celebration of "Diwali" (Festival of light) 2) Navratri 3) Indian Cuisine Food 4) Sports competition for the Faculty, the Students, and Children.
Deepotsav-Festival of lights
Maroon Vibes is Indian Student Association's biggest event of the year. It is rather a competition than just a simple cultural event. the competition is free and open to all. Maroon Vibes features Cultural Dances, Singing, and Drama activities. Indian Cusine is served at the event.
